In circular legend around the representation of the ancient city San Giovanni d’Acri and the hospital of the Hospitaller Knights, based in the Holy Land until 1291. The representation was inspired by a historical map of the ancient city. The reverse side also includes the nominal value of the coin, the indication SOVRANO MILITARE ORDINE DI MALTA and the year of issuance.
