The Order of Malta’s Poste Magistrali will once again be present this year in Vasto (Abruzzo region) for the national philatelic exhibition “Vastophil 2026”, organized by the Vastophil ‘Rino Piccirilli’ Philatelic and Numismatic Club, scheduled to take place from Friday June 26 through Sunday June 28 2026, with a dedicated booth operating throughout the three days. As usual, the event will be held at the 16th-century Palazzo d’Avalos, at Piazza Lucio Valerio Pudente 1, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday June 26; from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday June 27; and finally, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Sunday June 28.

At the Poste Magistrali booth, visitors will be able to purchase the latest postal issues from the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, including the new issues released on June 23.

A special postmark dedicated to this philatelic event will also be in use, featuring the famous airship “Norge”, whose first flight over the North Pole will mark its centennial in 2026, an anniversary to be celebrated during the 52nd Aerophilately Day, organized by A.I.D.A. (Italian Association of Aerophilately) and scheduled to take place during “Vastophil 2026”. All mail accepted during the event, as well as postcards and collectors’ souvenirs, will be stamped with this postmark.

As usual, you’ll also be able to purchase the specially designed, numbered souvenir card, stamped with the special postmark dedicated to the event.
