The new numismatic issue for the year 2024, of H.M.E.H. Fra’ John Dunlap, Prince and 81st Grand Master, is available for purchase.
The numismatic series consists of six coins, in gold, silver and bronze, expressed in Scudi, Tarì and Grani, the Order’s historic currency. The new coins bear on the obverse side the effigy of Fra’ John Dunlap, Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, and on the reverse side an artistic representation of Kolossi Castle in Limassol, Cyprus, where the Hospitaller Knights of the Order of St. John established their headquarters, from 1291 to 1309. The depiction captures the current remains of the ancient installation. The artwork was created by the Maltese sculptor Noel Galea Bason.
