| Description | The Year Pack contains all the stamp series and sheets issued in 2025, with a face value of over € 100.00. The cover of the collector’s folder features an image taken from the logo specially created to celebrate the Jubilee Year 2025, which reproduces the eight-pointed cross, symbol of the Order of Malta, on which rests the depiction of the famous keyhole on the entrance door of the Magistral Villa, one of the two institutional seats of the Order of Malta, located in Rome on the Aventine Hill, through which the dome of St. Peter’s Papal Basilica, the center of Christianity and Jubilee celebrations, is visible. The logo is shown in its entirety on the back of the folder, at the top left, with the words “IUBILAEUM” and “A.D. MMXXV,” exactly as shown on the 14 April 2025 stamp issue dedicated to the Holy Year. Inside, there is an image of the sheet belonging to the same issue, namely the “Veduta dell’insigne Basilica Vaticana coll’ampio portico e Piazza adjacente” by the famous Giovanni Battista Piranesi (1720-1778), engraver, architect, and architectural theorist, whose tomb is located inside the church dedicated to St. Mary. The church is the artist’s only architectural work, part of the complex of the Magistral Villa. The booklet also includes a list, in both Italian and English, of all the 2025 issues, providing more information about the history and significance of each image depicted on the stamps. |
