A special postmark is available for the exhibition Viterbo and Tuscia in the stamps of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta issued on 26 November 2022.

Designed by Giancarlo Federico, it reproduces a detail of the 1 Scudo stamp belonging to the series “Seats of the Order” issued on 5 March 1968, in which the legend “Viterbo 1524” is highlighted.
The postmark is completed by the inscriptions “SOVRANO MILITARE ORDINE DI MALTA” and “POSTE MAGISTRALI”, the legend “IL PATRIMONIO STORICO E ARTISTICO DI VITERBO E DELLA TUSCIA” and “MOSTRA FILATELICA” and the date “26.XI.2022”.

Since the Magistral Post Office counter will be closed to the public on Saturday 26 November 2022, it will be exceptionally allowed to use the postmark for sending mail on Monday 28 November as well.

Items for reposting, individually franked by the sender with stamps belonging to the relevant set, must reach Poste Magistrali by 26 January 2023. A suitable self-addressed envelope, bearing Order of Malta stamps corresponding to the ordinary (Posta4) or priority (Posta1) mail  rate in force in Italy, must be enclosed for the postmarked items to be returned under cover. For return by registered mail, please contact Poste Magistrali in advance.

Items to be returned uncovered must reach Poste Magistrali by 12 December 2022 and must be individually marked “Corrispondenza filatelica” (Philatelic correspondence) on the address side in indelible ink. In case of missing, it will be automatically applied by Poste Magistrali.
