On the occasion of the Pilgrimage to the Holy House of Loreto of the Grand Priories of the three Italian Grand Priories of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, scheduled from 24 to 26 October 2025, Poste Magistrali will use the special postmark at the dedicated stand activated on Saturday 25 (from 10am to 7pm) and Sunday 26 October (from 10am to 1pm), on the ground floor of the Apostolic Palace of Loreto (Ancona).

The postmark, designed by Giancarlo Federico, depicts the Sanctuary of the Holy House of Loreto, with the dome in the background and the bell tower rising beside it.

The postmark is completed by the inscriptions “SOVRANO MILITARE ORDINE DI MALTA” and “POSTE MAGISTRALI”, “PELLEGRINAGGIO DELLA LINGUA D’ITALIA ALLA SANTA CASA DI LORETO” and the date “25.X.2025”.

Items for reposting, individually franked by the sender with stamps belonging to the relevant set, must reach the Poste Magistrali office by 29 December 2025. A suitable self-addressed envelope, bearing the Order of Malta stamps corresponding to the ordinary (Posta4) or priority (Posta1) postal rate in force in Italy, must be enclosed for the postmarked items to be returned under cover. For any return by registered mail, please contact Poste Magistrali in advance.

Items to be returned uncovered must reach Poste Magistrali by 10 November 2025 and must be individually marked as “Corrispondenza filatelica” (Philatelic correspondence) on the address side in indelible ink. Should this indication be missing, it will be applied by Poste Magistrali.
