The Order of Malta’s Poste Magistrali will be present again this year in Vasto (Abruzzo region) on the occasion of the National Philatelic Exhibition ‘Vastophil 2025’, scheduled to take place in the Abruzzo town from Friday 13 to Sunday 15 June 2025, with a dedicated stand. The event will be held, as usual, at the 16th century Palazzo d’Avalos, in Piazza Lucio Valerio Pudente 1, from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm on Friday 13, from 9.00 am to 1.00 pm and from 4.00 pm to 8.00 pm on Saturday 14 and, finally, from 9.00 am to 1.30 pm on Sunday 15.

At the Poste Magistrali’s stand, it will be possible to purchase the latest postal issues of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, including the new issues coming out on Friday 13 June.

A special postmark dedicated to the collecting event will also be in use, illustrated with the coat of arms of the city of Vasto, surrounded by the motto “Vastum Olim Histonium Romanum Municipium”, i.e. “Vasto, ancient Histonium, Roman municipium”.

All mail accepted during the event, as well as postcards and collectors’ souvenir material, will be stamped with the special postmark.
