Stamp description | pottery, supposedly invented in the Saharan communities and in Japan, from earliest times spread all over the world. The introduction of the lathe allowed this material, composed of various elements and made ductile by water, to be used to produce artistic objects embellished by painting and then by glass painting. Depending on the process, there are various types of ceramics: compact paste, stoneware and porcelain; porous paste, majolica, terracotta, earthenware.
