| Stamp description | Poste Magistrali celebrates Christmas with a stamp series and souvenir sheet. The issue presents two details of the Virgin Mary and Child Jesus from the Adoration of the Shepherds by Lorenzo Lotto. The Virgin, praying, has a ring on her hand, possibly alluding to the relic of the Holy Ring preserved in Perugia Cathedral. The souvenir sheet depicts the Triptych of the Adoration of the Magi by the Flemish painter Joos van Cleve, a splendid masterpiece in the Church of San Donato in Genoa.
