Stamp description | the five stamps depict a uniformed portrait of His Most Eminent Highness Fra’ John Dunlap, Prince and Grand Master of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta. Completing each stamp are the inscriptions “SOVRANO MILITARE ORDINE DI MALTA” and “POSTE MAGISTRALI” the coat of arms of the Order’s activities, and the face value expressed with the codes “A,” “B,” “B-50g,” “B-Zona1,” and “B-Zona2,” respectively. The stamp bearing the face value expressed with code “B” forms the postcard’s franking impression, enclosed by a mock stroke perforation. On the lower right, four continuous lines with the indications “C.A.P.”, “LOCALITÀ” and “PROV.” for the recipient’s address. Upper left, a box with the legend “CARTOLINA POSTALE” and the indications “C.A.P.”, “LOCALITÀ” and “PROV.” for the sender’s address. |
