| Stamp description | depicted in the foreground is St. Luigi Orione holding a rose, chosen as the symbol of his birth. At the back on the left, Christ holding the Vatican Basilica on his heart and to the right, the Mother of Divine Providence. The stamp is completed with the legend “1872 DON ORIONE 2022”, the inscriptions “SOVRANO MILITARE ORDINE DI MALTA” and “POSTE MAGISTRALI”, the coat of arms of the Order’s activities and the face value € 2.40. The four-stamp sheet bears a detail of the image depicted in the postcard and on the bottom left the logo of the celebrations for 150th anniversary of St. Luigi Orione. On the margin of the stamps are the inscriptions “EMISSIONE CONGIUNTA”, “CITTÀ DEL VATICANO”, “SOVRANO MILITARE ORDINE DI MALTA”, “ITALIA” and “ARGENTINA”. |
