Also this year, the Sovereign Order of Malta’s Poste Magistrali will be present in Riccione, in the province of Rimini, for the Philatelic and Numismatic Convention which traditionally marks the end of the summer holidays and the beginning of the new collecting year.

The event, which will take place at the Palazzo del Turismo in Piazzale Ceccarini, in the heart of the Adriatic town and not far from the railway station, will be open to the public from Thursday 31st August to Saturday 2nd September, continuously from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

At the Poste Magistrali’s stand it will be possible to buy the Sovereign Military Order of Malta’s latest postal issues, including the joint issue with the Vatican City and Italy dedicated to the Italian Air Force and the joint issue with the Vatican City dedicated to the Cathedral of Spoleto, as well as to subscribe and renew subscriptions to the Order’s stamps. The 2022 Year Pack, the practical and elegant binder containing all the postal series issued last year, will also be available for purchase.

For the occasion, a special postmark dedicated to the event will be used, depicting the characteristic Fontana del Nuotatore in Piazzale Ceccarini. The postmark will be used to stamp all the mail accepted during the three-day event, as well as the special limited edition souvenir card that will be available for purchase at the Poste Magistrali stand during the event.
