Update of the 2022 Stamp issuing programme
Poste Magistrali announced an update of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta’s 2022 stamp issues programme, already presented on 23 December last. With regards to the previous version, updated on 22 April, some face values have been changed, necessary due to price increases in force since 27 June.

Fra’ John T. Dunlap is the new Lieutenant of the Grand Master
Pope Francis appointed Fra' John T. Dunlap, former member of the Sovereign Council, as the Sovereign Order of Malta’s Lieutenant of the Grand Master. He succeeds Fra' Marco Luzzago, who died on 7 June.

With profound sorrow the Grand Magistry announces the return to the home of the Father of His Excellency the Lieutenant of the Grand Master, Fra' Marco Luzzago, which took place today in Villa Ciccolini (Sforzacosta, province of Macerata), following a sudden illness.
